« Faites vos jeux ! », vidéo performance ,16:9, 02'01, 2012

«Faites vos jeux !» est une vidéo performance mettant en scène une corde à sauter enfilé dans une pierre. Le son produit par le poids de la pierre retombant sur le sol rythme de manière ironique l’effort physique. Ce son résonnant dans l’espace et le port d’un casque tend à caractériser et accompagner la notion de danger. La confrontation à la contrainte et la persévérance devant cet objet remanié met l’accent sur l’aliénation du corps face à l’objet. Le spectateur se retrouve face à la matérialisation d’un décalage, d’un glissement, suscitant l'idée que le bonheur tend à vivre sa vie tout en ayant conscience de son absurdité.

“Plates your bets !”  is a video performance that presents a skipping rope strung through a stone. The sound of the stone falling down the floor ironically gives the rhythm of the physical effort. This noise reverberated into the space and the presence of a crash helmet tend to characterize and support the notion of the danger. The confrontation with the constraint and the perseverance in front of this transformed objet put the accent on the alienation of the body in its relation to the materialization of the gap, a shift in meaning which arouses the idea that happiness aims to live its own life although it is aware of its absurdity.
